Puzzles come in four different styles…
Tab-Grid
tough to put together because so many of the tabs are alike!
Tweaked Tab
less challenging, more fun! practically none of the tabs are identical
Scroll Saw Style
the style inspired by my grandfather’s puzzles from nearly a century ago!
Extreme Tweaked Tab
these puzzles aren’t as random as scrollsaw style puzzles, and many of the shapes are recognizable as hands, cats, cartoon characters, and other familiar outlines
Also available in Extra Large pieces for older eyes!
Puzzles come in five different sizes…
- Small (roughly 5″ x 10″)
- Medium (roughly 6″ x 12″)
- Large (roughly 12″ x 12″)
- Extra Large (roughly 12″ x 19″)
- XXL (roughly 12″ x 22″)
Puzzles come in Circular, Rectangular, or Hexagonal shape.
*Round and Hexagonal shapes are only available in the Large (roughly 12″x12″) size
Materials for puzzles are mostly laminates of maple, walnut, cherry, or bamboo, but true heirloom-quality puzzles are made with solid pieces of Vermont Cherry, Maple, or Pine!

Family Portrait Puzzles can be custom-made if you provide a group photo in highest res possible. You will get one 18″ x 11.5” puzzle for $450. Additional puzzles may be ordered for $60 each.
Custom puzzles (without pictures, just words) are available. What you have to say may determine the size required, but expect to get one 6”x12” puzzle with the saying of your choice (35 characters or less) for $350. If you have too many words, then the smallest puzzle will need to be 11” x 18” and the first puzzle will cost $450. Additional puzzles 11 x 18 puzzles for $60 each or 6 x 12 puzzles for $35 each.
Custom puzzles (with pictures) are also available and very popular! Expect to get one 11.5”x19” puzzle with the picture of your choice for $450. Add $150 if you would like two contrasting woods used in your puzzle. Additional puzzles 11 x 18 puzzles for $60 each or 6 x 12 puzzles for $35 each.
